The Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association football playoffs are underway.
The championship contests for Nevada's 2A North Half, 1A Upper Half and 1A Lower Half are set for Nov. 16 while the Class 4A Northern Region and 4A Desert Region championships will be determined Nov. 22. Finalists will battle for Class 4A Mountain Region championship hardware on Nov. 30.
The Silver State's state title contests in Classes 3A, 2A and 1A are set for Nov. 23 while the Class 4A state championship will be determined on Dec. 7. Championship dates for the 3A Northern League, 3A Southern Region and the 2A South Half have not been set at this time.
Host sites for the various championship contests have not been determined.
Champions in 2018 include Spring Mountain (1A), Pershing County (2A), Churchill County (3A) and Bishop Gorman (4A). Bishop Gorman goes into postseason play having won 10 straight state championships while Pershing County will be trying to claim its fourth straight state title.
