Basketball Game Preview: Crowley Eagles vs. North Crowley Panthers

Crowley hasn't had much luck against North Crowley recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Crowley Eagles will head out to challenge the North Crowley Panthers at 8:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Crowley will bounce into Tuesday's game after beating Mansfield Legacy, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Crowley managed a 63-58 win over Mansfield Legacy on Tuesday. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 66th, while the Broncos are ranked 442nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, North Crowley waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took down the Tigers 65-49.

Crowley is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-11 record this season. As for North Crowley, their record now sits at 28-5.

Crowley came up short against North Crowley in their previous matchup back in January, falling 46-41. Can Crowley avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
