Taft School came out on top against Canterbury School on Tuesday thanks in part to Evan Douglas's efforts. Douglas turned in nothing short of a gem, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit over 4.1 innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Douglas and Taft School will be playing at home against Hotchkiss School at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Big Red got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Bearcats thanks in part to Douglas: he tossed 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits.
