Softball Recap: East Rochester Starts Season with Loss at Home

East Rochester unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Clyde-Savannah Golden Eagles on Wednesday, falling 17-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bombers have suffered since April 10, 2024.

Clyde-Savannah's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.

Looking ahead, East Rochester will take on Lyons at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bombers will need to watch out since the Lions have now posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season. As for Clyde-Savannah, they will face off against Penn Yan Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
