Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kewanee). They blew past the Putnam County Panthers 71-43 on Wednesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Boilermakers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

The victory got Kewanee back to even at 10-10. As for Putnam County, they are on a 22-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-20.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kewanee will face off against Erie-Prophetstown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Putnam County, they will take on St. Bede at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
