After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Walton, Marietta was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Hillgrove Hawks 3-0. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Blue Devils yet this season.

Marietta's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-3. As for Hillgrove, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marietta will face off against Blessed Trinity at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hillgrove, they will square off against North Paulding at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
