Basketball Recap: Siren Comes Up Short

Siren lost against Turtle Lake back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Siren Dragons were beaten by the Turtle Lake Lakers 76-36. While losing is never fun, the Dragons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 447th, while the Lakers are ranked 138th).

Siren has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for Turtle Lake, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-3.

Siren wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 53-43 loss against Frederic on the 4th. Turtle Lake has also already played their next contest, a 70-51 win against Luck on the 4th.
