Alta is 6-1 against Skyline since December of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Hawks will venture away from home to face off against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Alta knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Skyline likes a good challenge.

Alta is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Viewmont just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took a 70-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings.

Meanwhile, Skyline was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 59-55 to Woods Cross. While the Eagles didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Wildcats 16-12 in the first quarter.

Alta's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 9-3. As for Skyline, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.

Alta strolled past Skyline in their previous matchup back in January of 2025 by a score of 53-34. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hawks since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
