Baseball Recap: Skyline Falcons vs. Windsor Wizards
Skyline extended their losing streak to three on Saturday, dropping them down to 2-20. They lost 12-0 to the Windsor Wizards. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Falcons haven't been shut out since back in March.
As for Windsor, they pushed their record up to 17-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Considering they have won nine games by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
For Windsor's part, they got a big performance out of James Beets, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. That's the most stolen bases Beets has posted since back in March. Easton Gattis was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
Looking ahead, Skyline will face off against Frederick at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Golden Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.23 runs per game on average), something the Falcons will no doubt try to take advantage of. Windsor does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
