Lake Highland Prep entered their tilt with Osceola on Saturday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They took down the Osceola Kowboys 69-55. The Highlanders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Kowboys, too.

Lake Highland Prep's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Michael Madueme, who went 7 of 9 en route to 17 points. Another player making a difference was RJ Ingram, who went 6 for 8 on his way to 17 points and five boards.

Lake Highland Prep was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2024.

Several Kowboys players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jordan Mundle, who went 5 of 8 en route to 12 points along with five rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Mccrimon, who went 7 for 12 on his way to 15 points.

Lake Highland Prep is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. As for Osceola, they moved to 18-2 with that loss, which also ended their 14-game winning streak.

Lake Highland Prep has already played their next contest, a 60-43 victory against Foundation Academy on the 28th. As for Osceola, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 73-68 defeat against The First Academy on the 27th.
