Freeport has gone 8-1 against Mt. Ararat recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. It'll be Battle of the Birds when the Freeport Falcons challenge the Mt. Ararat Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Freeport is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Freeport is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They fell to Cape Elizabeth 63-58. The Falcons were up 39-20 in the second quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Meanwhile, Mt. Ararat suffered their biggest loss since January 27th on Tuesday. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Fryeburg an easy 72-51 win. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Mt. Ararat's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Freeport, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-3.

Freeport strolled past Mt. Ararat in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 47-31. Will Freeport repeat their success, or does Mt. Ararat have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
