Basketball Game Preview: Clover Blue Eagles vs. Powdersville Patriots

The Clover Blue Eagles will square off against the Powdersville Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Clover is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.6 points per game this season.

On Saturday, Clover ended up a good deal behind Victory Christian Center and lost 61-46. The game marked the Blue Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Ashtin Feemster, who posted ten points and three steals. Feemster is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Jackson Hill was another key player, putting up six points and three steals.

Meanwhile, Powdersville suffered their biggest defeat since December 11, 2024 on Friday. They took a blow against Greenville, falling 97-60. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Powdersville now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Clover, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.
