Volleyball Recap: Elk Point-Jefferson Takes a Loss

Elk Point-Jefferson came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Vermillion Tanagers. Huskies fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Tanagers since Tuesday.

Elk Point-Jefferson was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Vermillion work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 25-21, 25-20.

Elk Point-Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 13-17. As for Vermillion, with the victory, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 8-20.

As of now, neither Elk Point-Jefferson nor the Tanagers have any future games scheduled.
