Volleyball Recap: Paragould Gets Past Beebe

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Westside, Paragould was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Beebe Badgers.

Paragould had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-22, 25-16, 25-13.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Paragould to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kinley Glasgow, who had 16 assists, eight digs, and six aces. Another player making a difference was Ava Beasley, who had 15 digs and 12 kills.

Paragould has now won six of their last seven games on the road. That gives them a 4-3 record this season. As for Beebe, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's dealt a heavy blow to their 5-6 record this season.

Paragould wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Southside on the 12th. As for Beebe, they have also already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Little Rock HomeSchool on the 12th.
