Albany waltzed into their contest on Saturday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They blew past the San Lorenzo Grizzlies 66-40. Given the Cougars' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 171st, while the Grizzlies are ranked 458th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Albany has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.5 points per game.
