Baseball Recap: Eastern Hancock Comes Up Short

Eastern Hancock lost to Heritage Christian back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Royals came up short against the Eagles, falling 13-4. The Royals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Luke Fletcher made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayden Rouse, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Eastern Hancock's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Heritage Christian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-6-1.

The teams wasted no time getting back out on the field as they've already faced off again: they played to a 0-0 tie later that day.
