Softball Recap: Meadville Eagles vs. Bevier Wildcats
After flying high against Grundy County last Monday, Meadville came back down to earth. The Meadville Eagles fell 9-5 to the Bevier Wildcats on Tuesday. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
Lexi Kiel and McKinlee Fletcher did some serious damage despite the final result: Kiel scored a run while going 2-for-3, while Fletcher scored a run while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Clara Burnett, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.
