Basketball Recap: Ithaca Comes Up Short

Ithaca was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 61-55 heartbreaker at the hands of the Horseheads Blue Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 44-41 back in January.

Ithaca's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Horseheads, their win ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-3.

Ithaca does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Horseheads, they are taking a road trip to face off against Binghamton at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
