Soccer Recap: Social Circle Comes Up Short

After soaring to 11 goals the game before, Social Circle was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They came up short against the Bremen Blue Devils, falling 4-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Social Circle of the 1-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2019.

Their goal came courtesy of Alana Ferguson, who's now up to 51 this season.

Social Circle's defeat dropped their record down to 13-3. As for Bremen, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-3.

Social Circle and Bremen will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Redskins see the pitch they'll take on Jackson County at 5:30 p.m. on the 15th. As for Bremen, their break will end when they face Darlington at 5:30 p.m. on the 16th.
