Nederland waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Beaumont United Timberwolves with a sharp 15-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won 15 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Bryce Ray made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Ray was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

In other batting news, Sam Tritico was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. Fletcher Berry was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

Nederland always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .633. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Beaumont United only posted an OBP of .250.

Nederland's victory was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-4. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.1 runs on average over those games. As for Beaumont United, they are on a 35-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Coming up, Nederland will venture away from home to take on Port Neches-Groves at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Beaumont United does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
