Volleyball Recap: San Juan Diego Catholic Comes Up Short

San Juan Diego Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Central Texas Christian Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-10, 25-9.

Central Texas Christian was led to victory by Jenna Good and Meredith Turner. Good had 11 assists and four aces, while Turner had eight digs.

San Juan Diego Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 5-19. As for Central Texas Christian, the win was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 33-3-1.

Coming up, San Juan Diego Catholic will face off against Live Oak Classical at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Central Texas Christian, after both having extra time off, they and CenTex HomeSchool will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
