Randolph hadn't done well against Boston Latin Academy recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Blue Devils had just enough and edged out the Dragons 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Blue Devils: when they faced off against the Dragons back in April, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

Randolph was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-20, 29-31, 25-20, 15-12.

Several Dragons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tri Duong, who had 33 digs and four assists. Duong has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 27 times he's played. Jarvis Huynh was another key player, getting eight digs and two aces.

The victory made it two in a row for Randolph and bumps their season record up to 6-8. As for Boston Latin Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season.

Randolph didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 defeat against Weymouth on the 16th. As for Boston Latin Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Newton South on the 16th.
