The Central Valley Warriors are taking a road trip to face off against the Southmoreland Scotties at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Southmoreland will be up against a hot Central Valley squad: the team just extended their winning streak to five. The Warriors breezed past Northgate to the tune of 68-31 on Friday. The Warriors pushed the score to 57-27 by the end of the third, a deficit the Flames had little chance of recovering from.

Wyatt Clark had another great game (as he tends to do), shooting 50% from the field on his way to 15 points and five boards. He is on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last four games he's played. Adam Shroads was another key player, putting up eight points.

Meanwhile, Southmoreland was fully in charge on Tuesday, breezing past Yough 64-18. The victory continues a trend for the Scotties in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won four in a row.

Central Valley's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Southmoreland, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Everything came up roses for Central Valley against Southmoreland in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 72-29 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
