Volleyball Recap: Danbury Takes a Loss

Danbury was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the New Canaan Rams, falling 3-0. If the Hatters were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Rams when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Danbury was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-14, 25-22.

Danbury's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for New Canaan, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Danbury is set to square off against their familiar foe Warde/Ludlowe at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, New Canaan will face off against rival Ludlowe at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
