Volleyball Game Preview: Willowbrook Warriors vs. Hinsdale Central Red Devils

The Willowbrook Warriors will head out to challenge the Hinsdale Central Red Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Willowbrook was able to grind out a solid victory over Proviso East, taking the game 2-0. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now won five in a row.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Hinsdale Central earned a 2-0 victory over Chicago Christian on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Red Devils.

Hinsdale Central not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Chicago Christian between 18 and 20 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-18.

Willowbrook's record now sits at 8-25. As for Hinsdale Central, their record is now 9-22.

Willowbrook skirted past Hinsdale Central 2-1 in their previous matchup last Saturday. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Red Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
