Basketball Game Preview: Celina Bulldogs vs. Wapakoneta Redskins

Celina is 1-9 against Wapakoneta since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Celina Bulldogs are taking a road trip to challenge the Wapakoneta Redskins at 7:00 p.m. Celina has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Celina will head into Saturday's contest on the come-up: they were handed a heart-breaking two-point defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Ansonia on Saturday. Celina blew past Ansonia 66-38. The Bulldogs' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Wapakoneta came up short against Coldwater on Saturday, falling 68-48. The Redskins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The victory snapped Celina's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-6 record. As for Wapakoneta, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Celina came up short against Wapakoneta in their previous matchup back in February, falling 36-25. Can Celina avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
