Saturday just wasn't the day for West Nassau's offense. They fell just short of the Matanzas Pirates by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

West Nassau's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Matanzas, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 14-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Nassau will welcome Hilliard at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors are facing the Red Flashes at the right time seeing as the Red Flashes are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Matanzas, they will take on Providence School at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
