Volleyball Recap: Carl Hayden Community Takes a Loss

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Carl Hayden Community and Alhambra had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Falcons fell just short of the Lions by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Falcons have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Carl Hayden Community's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Alhambra, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Carl Hayden Community and Alhambra will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Falcons see the court they'll take on McClintock at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th. As for Alhambra, their break will end when they face Fairfax at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th.
