The Teague Lions's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Buffalo 56-28 at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Teague has managed all season.

Teague's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jehmel Rice, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and two blocks. Rice is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games he's played. Brayden Leija was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.

Teague's win bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Buffalo, their loss dropped their record down to 7-17.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Teague will challenge Groesbeck at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Groesbeck is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home. Buffalo on the road again on Friday and play against Westwood at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th. One thing working in Westwood's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last nine matchups.
