Football Game Preview: O'Connor Panthers vs. Brennan Bears

The O'Connor Panthers will face off against the Brennan Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. O'Connor has given up an average of 35.4 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, O'Connor was beaten by Harlan 55-7. The matchup marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the defeat, O'Connor saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Cash Manis rushed for 123 yards and one TD on only 12 carries.

Meanwhile, Brennan ended up a good deal behind Harlan last Saturday and lost 31-14. The loss was the Bears' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Brennan fell to 3-1. As for O'Connor, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.
