Soccer Recap: Monticello Takes a Loss

Monticello was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans, falling 7-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Monticello of the 6-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Monticello's loss dropped their record down to 4-8-1. As for St. Joseph-Ogden, their win bumped their record up to 13-0.

Monticello has already played their next match, a 5-0 defeat against St. Thomas More on the 18th. As for St. Joseph-Ogden, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 1-0 victory against Olympia on the 17th.
