Volleyball Recap: Brighter Horizons Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Atlas Prep on Tuesday, Brighter Horizons Academy came back down to earth. The Stars fell 2-0 to the Southwest Raiders on Saturday.

Brighter Horizons Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Southwest, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Brighter Horizons Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Regents at 4:30 p.m. on September 4. As for Southwest, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Sam Houston on the 19th.
