Baseball Recap: Dallas County Comes Up Short

Dallas County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 20-0 to the Thomasville Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 13-0 loss on March 11th.

Dallas County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Thomasville, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-6.

Coming up, Dallas County will venture away from home to square off against Isabella at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Dallas County's pitchers better be ready for this one: Isabella has averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season. As for Thomasville, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Thomasville Tigers duke it out with Wilcox Central Jaguars at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
