Volleyball Recap: West Broward Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Win

West Broward waltzed into their match on Monday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Stoneman Douglas Eagles. This was a revenge game for the Bobcats: when they faced off against the Eagles back in August, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

Stoneman Douglas' defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Chloe Siqueira, who had 21 digs and one assist, and Grace Pulsifer, who had nine assists and eight digs. Siqueira has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last eight times she's played. Isabella Cox also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

West Broward's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Stoneman Douglas, they moved to 9-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

West Broward didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Chaminade-Madonna on the 30th. As for Stoneman Douglas, they will challenge Pembroke Pines Charter at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
