Belvidere North entered their tilt with Harlem on Monday with ten consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 11. They put the hurt on the Huskies with a sharp 11-0 win. 11 seems to be a good number for the Blue Thunder as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Paige Johnson and Miley Dobbs did most of the damage at the plate: Johnson went 1-for-2 with three RBI and one run, while Dobbs went 1-for-2 with three RBI and one run. That's the most RBI Johnson has posted since back in May of 2024.

Belvidere North's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-9. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.6 runs over those games. As for Harlem, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-8.

Looking ahead, Belvidere North will take on Freeport at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Blue Thunder are facing the Pretzels at the right time seeing as the Pretzels are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Harlem, they will challenge Guilford at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
