Baseball Recap: Broome Comes Up Short

Broome was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Woodruff Wolverines. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 last Monday.

Broome's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Woodruff, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-3.

While Broome had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
