Basketball Game Preview: Peyton Panthers vs. Cedaredge Bruins

The Peyton Panthers will face off against the Cedaredge Bruins at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Peyton knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Cedaredge likes a good challenge.

On Friday, Peyton took their matchup with ease, bagging a 61-31 win over North Fork. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Cedaredge had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They snuck past Fountain Valley with a 46-41 victory on Friday.

Peyton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.7 points over those games. Cedaredge's win bumped their record up to 6-15.
