Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Gus Stout and Kole Hermann Lead Kadoka to Victory

Kadoka won the last time they faced Bennett County and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Kadoka Kougars came out on top against the Bennett County Warriors by a score of 63-55. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Kougars.

Kadoka was led to victory by Kole Hermann and Gus Stout. Hermann posted 24 points and six rebounds, while Stout put up 20 points along with seven boards and four steals. Hermann's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Jared Nemecek was another key player, putting up four points in addition to six assists and four steals.

Kadoka is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.4 points per game. As for Bennett County, their defeat was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kadoka will welcome New Underwood at 6:00 p.m. on February 11th. One thing working in Kadoka's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games. As for Bennett County, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against St. Francis Indian at 2:00 p.m.
