ITW David Speer Academy had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.5 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Sunday. They were the clear victor by a 49-23 margin over the Comer Catamounts. The Pride have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 20 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead ITW David Speer Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Miabella Collazo, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 13 boards. Collazo has been hot recently, having also posted two or more blocks the last three times she's played. Anaiyah Costoso was another key player, putting up 18 points and seven rebounds.

ITW David Speer Academy's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-3. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.8 points over those games. As for Comer, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-4.
