Allegany lost to Hampshire back in October of 2019, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Campers' defense stepped up to hand the Trojans a 6-0 shutout. Give Allegany's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Ella Shade and Madalyn Bucy scored all six of Allegany's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Allegany's victory bumped their record up to 3-0-1. As for Hampshire, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's still a better percentage than their 1-5-1 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Allegany will take on Frankfort at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hampshire, they will welcome Mountain Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hampshire will need to watch out since Mountain Ridge have now posted at least four goals every time they've taken the pitch this season.
