Basketball Recap: Corliss Comes Up Short

Corliss was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 35-23 to the DuSable Panthers. That's two games in a row now that the Trojans have lost by exactly 12 points.

Corliss' defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for DuSable, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Corliss and DuSable's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Corliss and EPIC Academy (who has only given up 24.71 points per game) will meet at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Corliss' defense has only allowed 29.5 points per game this season, so DuSable's offense will have their work cut out for them. Similarly, DuSable will challenge Dunbar at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, a squad that's only allowed 23.86 points per game.
