Baseball Recap: Oakes Tornadoes vs. Hillsboro/Central Valley H-CV Burros

If Oakes was riding high fresh off their 9-1 takedown of Hatton/Northwood on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tornadoes took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hillsboro/Central Valley H-CV Burros on Saturday. The Tornadoes were not able to make up for their loss to the H-CV Burros from their previous meeting back in May of 2017.

Chris Titus was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He tossed 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Titus was even better at the plate, firing off two home runs, three runs, and three RBI while going 3-for-3.
