Volleyball Recap: Grainger's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

After flying high against Hancock County on Tuesday, Grainger came back down to earth. The Grizzlies lost 3-0 to the West Greene Buffaloes on Thursday. The Grizzlies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Buffaloes apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-17, 25-10.

Having lost for the first time this season, Grainger fell to 2-1. As for West Greene, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Coming up, Grainger will take on Jefferson County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for West Greene, they will face off against Northview Academy at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
