Basketball Recap: Austin Achieve Takes a Loss

Austin Achieve was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Granger Lions 60-31. The game marked the Polar Bears' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Austin Achieve's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Granger, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Austin Achieve wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 56-26 defeat against Valor Preparatory Academy on the 6th. As for Granger, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 45-33 victory against Non Varsity Tournament Opponent on the 5th.
