Football Game Preview: Providence Christian Eagles vs. Abbeville Yellowjackets + Official Tickets

The Providence Christian Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Abbeville Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Providence Christian is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Ariton just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 28-15 to the Purple Cats.

Meanwhile, Abbeville came up short against Long on Friday and fell 24-14.

Abbeville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Providence Christian, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-2.

Providence Christian strolled past Abbeville in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a score of 42-26. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
