China Spring has gone a perfect 10-0 against Connally recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The China Spring Cougars will venture away from home to face off against the Connally Cadets at 4:00 p.m. China Spring is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.

China Spring's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They blew past Robinson 3-0. The Cougars' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three games.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Connally's offense. They came up short against La Vega on Tuesday, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, the Cadets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 790th, while the Pirates are ranked 261st).

Connally has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for China Spring, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6.

China Spring took their win against Connally in their previous meeting back in January by a conclusive 4-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for China Spring since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
