Softball Recap: Neshoba Central Wins Going Away Against Vancleave

Neshoba Central not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since March 18th. Everything went their way against the Vancleave Bulldogs as they made off with an 11-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Rockets, who have now won nine games by six runs or more so far this season.

Neshoba Central has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Vancleave, they dropped their record down to 10-16 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Neshoba Central has already played their next match (against George County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Vancleave, they will square off against Laurel at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
