Baseball Game Preview: Tidehaven Tigers vs. Industrial Cobras

For the second straight game, Tidehaven will face off against Industrial. The Tigers will square off against the Cobras at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tidehaven's pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so Industrial's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Tidehaven fell victim to Industrial and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Cobras by a score of 2-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Tigers have suffered since May 9, 2024.

RITCHIE ZGARCIA spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

Industrial is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Tidehaven, their loss dropped their record down to 12-8-1.
