Recap: Harrison Raiders vs. Richmond Red Devils

There's no place like home for the Harrison Raiders, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Thursday. They strolled past Richmond with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 61-44. That's another feather in the cap for Harrison, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Harrison was led to victory by Riley Whitlock and Ava Ahnert. Whitlock scored 19 points along with six rebounds, while Ahnert scored 16 points along with six assists and five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ahnert has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Elsie Ahnert, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and two steals.

Harrison now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Richmond, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season.

Harrison will head out on the road to take on Noblesville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Noblesville knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five contests -- so hopefully Harrison likes a good challenge. As for Richmond, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Kokomo at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
