Soccer Recap: Clover Park Triumphs

On FridayLakes kept up with Clover Park until halftime, but afterwards: not so much. The Clover Park Timberwolves never let the Lakes Lancers get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. Jose Lopez had to tread lightly for part of the match after he was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble the Timberwolves got from the refs.

Alian Piza and Jorge Campos Navarette scored all three of Clover Park's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

The victory got Clover Park back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clover Park will host Steilacoom at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lakes, they will challenge River Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
